Khustai National Park, watch documentary movie about National Park, explore the valley & wild horses of TAKHI- Przewalski
Hustai National Park is located about 100km away in the southwest of Ulaanbaatar, and was opened in 1993 to reintroduce Mongolia’s wild Takhi (Przewalski) horses. Since 1960s, those wild horses have become rare & extinct in Mongolia.
Interesting fact of these wild horses would be that they have been brought from Western zoos in the early 1990s.
Best time to see these beautiful creatures would be during their early morning and evening watering time.
Drive to Khustai National Park, visit its office and watch a short documentary movie about the origination of the National Park. Drive to see wild horses of TAKHI- Przewalski.
Evening drive back to Ulaanbaatar.
